I am velcro for discontinuing products. Revlon makes every shade in this gloss. So why are they just discontinuing the most believable? Like I would wear a milky lavender shade every day?!! I contacted the company, and sadly it is true:( Oh makeup Gods...why have you spurned me again!!

I've had this in my makeup bag for a long time and realized today I really love this gloss. I think what I like about it is the fact that it is a subtle red shade, not to overdone and is a little on the warm side. It is the perfect lip gloss, although you have to reply often to maintain the color which is why I took off one lippie.

Although I am not much into red lip colors since red either does not suit me as I dont know which one does or just cant find the one that suits me. Anyways this has great pigmentation & is sheer so its not over the top. If I want it be over the top I just wear it over l/s. But yeah the price needs to be low so I will only get it if there is a sale. continued >>

Best. Lip gloss. Ever. I am totally in love with red lip glosses, and this one is by far my favourite. It's sheer, so it isn't at all harsh on my uber pale skin, but delivers just enough colour to make my lips a bit rosy, plus it lasts for quite some time, and is not all that sticky. The only downside to this product is that it is quite pricey (at least where I live), and so I have to wait for it to come back on sale to get it again. The upside to that is this year alone I've seen it on sale three times, so since I have absolutely none of this left, I'll have to wait until then to pick up more. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants red-ish lips but has a hard time with red lipstick being too harsh.

My original favorite lip gloss. I bought several tubes at 75% off and am rationing them until the next Ice Age...so sorry that this appears to be discontinued. I hate saying good-bye to an old reliable friend.

I love this gloss for a muted red lip. The idea of red lipstick always scares me a little, so I love to wear this with a toned-down eye, and I always get compliments when I do. These glosses have a wonderful texture and are comparable to high-end, IMO.

I really like this gloss. It gives a nice pinkish red shine to the lips. The color is actually a bit more prominent than I expected, but it's very pretty. I like the fact that it has no shimmer.

LOOOVE THIS STUFF! Super pretty color, although it looks really dark and red in the tube it's actually a nice subtle color. It gives more of a nice mauve red tint to your lips rather than an opaque color. Nice smooth texture and shine. I am in loooooove! :)

The sheer wash of reddish pinky pigment is perfect for everyday or that first date when you don't want your date to know about your makeup habit :)
The texture is very glossy but not tacky/sticky so we get the shine w/o feeling like you put paste on your lips.
It's got a doe-foot/sponge applicator, so if you don't like those - well even if you don't like those, try this color anyway.
I'm about the color of Taraji P. Henson and it serves me well.
I got the first one from CVS for $3 and then I thought to roam the nearest Big Lots and *ka-CHING* I found 3 more.
As Revlon is my witness, I will not without go Cherries in the Glow again!

I happen to be a huge fan of Revlon lippies, and this one definitely delivers. It's a nice sheer red that looks great layered over red or nude lippies for a hint more color and shine. It's definitely more sheer than it looks in the tube- there's just a hint of red once it's on the lips. The formula is light and not too sticky. It lasts as long as any gloss- which isn't that long on me, but it's sheer enough that I can reapply on the go. Will definitely repurchase if I ever run out.

Do not get suckered into buying this because of the raving reviews as I did. Vaseline looks better on my lips than this gunk. This stuff is so thick and greasy it looks like you've just finished eating fried chicken. There is nothing wrong with a little shine, but this is too shiny and is not a quality looking gloss.
I would wear MAC or Murad over this. To be honest, I really get disappointed with many of the cheap products you find at Walgreens/Walmart/Rite Aid, etc. irregardless of rave reviews. I'm not happy. Good thing I only paid $4 for it on eBay.

I just purchased this lip gloss today from CVS because of the price. I can honestly say I love this lip gloss and now it is one of my favorites. I might have to buy a backup gloss after reading on here that it might discontinued!

I rarely ever give a product a true 5 lipsticks (4.5, I round up to 5.) This is a true 5 lipsticks product.
The shade is a sheer, cream red with no shimmers. People have compared these (not the ones with shimmer or sparkle) to MAC's Cremesheen Glasses. It can be worn alone for a red tint, or over an overly nude lipstick to soften the harshness. I also tried wearing it over red lipstick, and it really completes the look.
It's not sticky, and it's not too watery either. Revlon really hit it out of the ballpark with this one! I think that it's such a shame it's being discontinued ;[
The packaging is sophisticated too, with the square shape, instead of round.
I got mine for $3.49 on clearance at ULTA. Only certain shades are on clearance (not including the famous Pink Whisper or the Spring collection), so check it out soon! I heard they're being discontinued!
Edit: I just found out it has SPF 15 too!

I got this after reading all the rave reviews and seeing it for 75% off since it's being discontinued. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed. Not because the gloss is bad quality, no, because it's actually really good quality. It's not overly sticky for a lipgloss, and it has good staying power. Plus, it's super easy to obtain (well not anymore I guess :))
What was the major disappointment to me in this gloss was the pigmentation. It's called Cherries in the Glow not Clear! Seriously, this might have well have been a clear lipgloss. Which was disappointing, because the color looked so promising on the outside of the tube! Ahh! If this actually had some color to it, it would be perfect. So, it gets 4 lippies for not being pigmented enough.
Would I buy this again? No. The formula is good, but there's nothing special about the color to make you go in a panic about this being discontinued. I don't get the hype with this one. I mean, it's okay, but that's it.

You can get some more pigmentation out of this by lining your lips with Wet 'n' Wild's 666 liner. Still wish this was more pigmented on its own, though.

i managed to snatch 3 of these during the [current] CVS 75% off sale... and i never buy backups of anything! i had read that this could dupe MAC's LE l/g in "rich & ripe" which i own and love so when i saw it, i had to buy and try it. true enough, it has a certain striking resembalance -- the gloss color is very close on my lips (i tested it by applying one on the upper lip and the other on the bottom lip) except that this one is a little less opaque and doesn't have the glitter. love it!! continued >>

I noticed on the boards that this might be discontinued. Sure enough, it was 75% off at our local CVS with a last chance sticker. I stocked up on quite a few but am still sad.....this was real standby for me.

Out of all of the Revlon SL glosses I really liked this color. To me it looks like a pinkish coral that I really liked. Sadly it appears that this color has been discontinued. I was in Ulta today and it was on clearance. I checked Revlon's website and they no longer list the color. I guess they are making room for the new colors by Gucci Westman, but I hate that they picked this color to get rid of. Why they need about 5 shades of pink that all look the same, and not this one I'll never know.

Pros: love the colour(my lips are quite brown, being a NC37-42), not sticky
Cons: not long lasting. need to reapply. quite pricey
Verdict: Shame it doesn't last long. perhaps a lip-base would help? Would repurchase because i found a store near me that sells it for AU$12 or 2 for $15!
i would reconsider if you had to pay RP.

The only gripes I have with this product is the color. I personally do not like the shade, however, if you find sheer, tomato red to your liking, then go for it because shade aside, this product has the potential to compete with all those other "high-end = good quality" lip glosses. You may want to know that this contains SUNSCREEN! SPF15 - perfect for someone who hates putting on yucky tasting sunblock on the lips.

Considering the raving reviews, I expected a wonderfully pigmented lipgloss to put all others to shame. How very disappointing! It is so sheer, more of a "nude blah" than "cherries in the glow"! You cannot possibly use it on its own unless you like the "clear lipgloss on nude lips" effect. My cheapo lipgloss delivers more colour than this one! Thankfully I had the good sense to test it before. No money wasted on this poor quality lipgloss!
